'Peaceful Parents' is a Mindfulness and Positive Psychology based parenting program to increase resilience in both parents and their children. ‘Peaceful Parents’ is a strength-based parenting workshop that is engaging, practical and supportive for parents. Parents learn strategies to lessen stress, enjoy parenting more as well as learning practical strategies to build resilience in their children.

"The strongest predictor of life success for children is being able to regulate emotions. This means when they are feeling anxious or avoidant that they can bring themselves back to being resilient. We can teach children these skills. Even better we can show them how to do it. This is where the ‘Peaceful Parents’ program is so powerful. By focusing on listening, communication and mindful parenting we can demonstrate these skills to our children day in day out.
We also know that our relationships thrive when we Connect, Protect and Respect one another (CPR). 'Peaceful Parents' builds this by helping parents to 'Connect' - To their strengths as parents, Identifying strengths of children and Developing cultures of unconditional positive regard, 'Protect' - Know how to handle strong emotions, How to listen well & calming mindfulness and emotional regulation and to 'Respect' - Using the 4 C’s – calm, curious, coach and communicate to develop ways to peacefully parent children.

I want to say THANK YOU!!! As I believe that I have been very lucky to have had the chance to participate in the peaceful parents program this year. I really found your sessions so enriching and enlightening, each and every one of them have been an opportunity for reflecting, gaining self-awareness, connecting with our emotions and with others through sharing thoughts experiences in a very safe and warm environment.
My children are now opening up more through the use of reflective listening, which is improving our communication. Peaceful Parents has made me more aware and appreciative of the little things. I have learnt so much and highly recommend this workshop.
I would like to say that after your last session, we spent 2 afternoons “in the flow” with my kids. Drawing and building lego for hours. It was very nice. My relationship with my children is more relaxed since I have been trying the tools you have given me. I’ve tried reflective listening (I realise I have never been a reflective listener) and it’s hard but surprisingly effective when I get it right. I have tried naming emotions with my children which has also been unexpectedly for me very successful in comforting and calming my children. I have found deep relaxation through the breathing techniques and meditate almost every day. I am understanding myself more as I try to notice my thoughts.
I would strongly recommend this workshop it has been really useful and interesting and informative.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the Peaceful parent sessions and believe I have gained useful knowledge, tips and strategies to become more mindful. We all wish our children come with a manual, they didn’t though. This course is the closest thing to a manual I’ve come across. Realistic, simple, invaluable advice, strategies & tools to help with the hardest job we’ll every have.
I found the workshop relaxing, informative and non-judgemental. I found the personal anecdotes refreshing and useful. This workshop has helped me to expand my repertoire of strategies to support my children’s (and my own) emotional development. The 2 hour session went quickly because they were fun and interesting.
The workshop was a chance to gain lifelong skills to improve in our families’ wellbeing. The new ways of thinking and reacting though often a challenge, were really a pleasure to learn. I now will strive to be more mindful in my approach to myself and those around me.
Peaceful Parents has motivated me to implement what I’ve learnt into my everyday life, making me more conscious of my emotions, more mindful in what I do, more aware of my responses to people and situations and more present with my kids. It has also re-iterated to me the importance of self-care and filling my cup. I am now actively applying all that I’ve learnt to be a more mindful, peaceful person and to teach my children how they can use mindfulness to cope with challenging situations and to find calmness.
I believe there is a huge (and growing) need for this course. This course has helped remind me what is important to myself and to my family.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and been pleasantly surprised with the outcome of being mindful. On a personal level, my sleep has improved. The greatest result though has benefited our whole family as we have a much calmer environment in our home.
After years of looking for looking for solutions to anxiety within the household and trying many different ways to reduce turmoil, I found this program extremely helpful in identifying and dealing with these problems. With many methods that are helpful and easy to apply to everyday situations.

The Peaceful Parents course was a brilliant course. I learnt more about myself and to remind myself of some of the key strategies to allow my family to live a more peaceful and mindful life. The course was very practical with lots of helpful suggestions, examples and visual aids. I would thoroughly recommend this to other parents.
The workshop will show you how to be present in the moment, calm thoughts, slow the heart rate and relax the shoulders - peace rolling over you is a wonderful feeling. The workshop will also help you discover reflective listening, problem solving, coping strategies, positive thinking, building resilience and the importance of self-care. All of this you take home and put into practice with your family. This knowledge will help build resilience in your children, as well as keep them peaceful and calm.
I found the Peaceful Parents program very useful. The group setting was great, and it helped to know other parents face the same issues. The program has helped me to think before acting, and has made a difference to my home.

I am a ‘stress head’ and have not been the same since suffering post-natal depression. I find most days hard, and it is difficult to stay calm. This has highlighted the effect this would be having on my family and given me strategies to improve my own mental wellbeing.
I registered without any expectations and was pleased that I made the time. The workshop was immensely worthwhile - it provided me with coping strategies; awareness of where/how things may become “unstuck”; and how to be more ‘present’ in the moment. I would highly recommend it to others.

The workshop was fantastic. It opened my mind to our family life - a reflective assessment - and allowed me to become more self-aware.
