Supporting anxious children is one of the most important things a parent can do. If you are noticing that your child is becoming more and more anxious, then it's time to start supporting them. Anxiety isn't something that just happens, it's a developmental disorder that takes years to develop. Your child will not be able to understand their own feelings until around the age of twelve and older. With this in mind, there really isn't much you can do unless you want to wait until your child is an adult before intervening as a parent.
